CORRECT OPERATION


The springs should hold the vehicle body in a level position at rest. Stand about 20 feet from the vehicle and observe it from the side. If the rear end sags and is not loaded with any weight, the springs need replacing. Also, observe the vehicle at a distance from the rear. If it leans to the left or to the right, the spring on the lower side is bad and must be replaced.
